The deployment phase involves the installation of the solution in a scheduled and orderly fashion. This may be as simple as moving a web site from a staging environment to a production server, or as complex as on-site installation of virtual private networking hardware across the globe. In some cases, client training may be part of the deployment phase.         Example: Each phase of Acme's web site and electronic commerce solution was developed in a staging environment. Once the implementation and testing of each phase was complete the new functionality was deployed on to the production servers. In a similar fashion WareNet's engineers coordinated with Acme's information technology department to install the secured internet access service.
